1. Introduction

Welcome to go-Village.com. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of go-Village.com and all related services, features, and content provided through the Platform. By accessing or using go-Village.com, you agree to comply with these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.

2. About the Platform

go-Village.com is an online marketplace platform that allows independent users to connect with one another for services including:

• babysitting
• childcare
• pet sitting
• dog sitting
• companionship
• care services
• and similar community-based services

go-Village.com acts solely as a marketplace platform. We do not:

• employ service providers
• provide childcare, pet care, or care services ourselves
• supervise users or services
• arrange contracts between users
• process payments between users
• guarantee bookings or successful arrangements
• guarantee the conduct, quality, safety, legality, reliability, or suitability of users

All arrangements, meetings, agreements, and interactions are solely between users.

3. User Eligibility

Users must be at least 18 years old to use the Platform. By using go-Village.com, you confirm that:

• the information you provide is accurate and truthful
• you are legally capable of entering agreements
• you will comply with all applicable laws and regulations

4. User Accounts

Users may be required to create an account to access certain features. You are responsible for:

• maintaining the confidentiality of your account
• all activity under your account
• keeping your information accurate and up to date

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts at our discretion.

5. Identity Verification

go-Village.com may request identification documents from users for verification purposes. Verification checks are manually reviewed. Identity documents are deleted after verification has been completed and are not permanently stored unless required by law. Verification does not guarantee:

• safety
• honesty
• suitability
• qualifications
• reliability
• legality of conduct

Users are responsible for carrying out their own checks, interviews, reference checks, and DBS/background checks where appropriate.

6. User Responsibilities

Users are solely responsible for:

• independently verifying other users
• arranging meetings safely
• supervising children, vulnerable individuals, and pets
• complying with safeguarding and animal welfare laws
• ensuring pets are safe, legally owned, and appropriately cared for
• disclosing relevant behavioural or medical issues relating to pets
• making informed decisions before entering arrangements with other users

Users use the Platform entirely at their own risk.

7. Safety Disclaimer

go-Village.com strongly recommends that users:

• meet in public places before arranging services
• verify references independently
• obtain DBS or background checks where appropriate
• inform family or friends about meetings
• never leave children, vulnerable individuals, or pets with unverified persons

To the fullest extent permitted by law, go-Village.com is not responsible for:

• disputes between users
• accidents or injuries
• theft, fraud, scams, abuse, misconduct, negligence, or criminal activity
• property damage
• emotional distress or financial loss
• incidents involving children, pets, or vulnerable individuals
• veterinary costs or pet-related incidents

All user interactions are undertaken entirely at users’ own risk.

8. Membership Fees

go-Village.com charges a monthly membership fee of £2.99. Membership fees are billed in advance on the 1st day of each month. Users may cancel or delete their account at any time. However:

• membership fees are non-refundable
• partial refunds are not provided
• deleting an account during a billing period does not entitle the user to reimbursement for unused time

For example, if a user pays on the 1st of the month and deletes their account on the 15th, no refund or partial reimbursement will be issued. go-Village.com does not handle or process payments between users and is not responsible for payment disputes between users.

9. Prohibited Activities

Users must not:

• provide false or misleading information
• impersonate another person
• use the Platform unlawfully
• harass, threaten, abuse, or endanger others
• misuse personal information
• engage in fraud, scams, or illegal activity
• upload harmful, offensive, or unlawful content

We reserve the right to remove content or terminate accounts without notice.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. go-Village.com makes no warranties or guarantees regarding:

• uninterrupted access
• availability
• accuracy of information
• user behaviour
• service quality
• successful arrangements or outcomes

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, go-Village.com, its owners, affiliates, employees, and representatives shall not be liable for:

• indirect or consequential losses
• loss of income, profits, business, or reputation
• personal injury
• emotional distress
• disputes between users
• incidents arising from meetings or arrangements made through the Platform
• actions or conduct of users

Our total liability to any user shall not exceed the total membership fees paid by that user during the previous 12 months. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded under the laws of England and Wales.

12. Termination

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate accounts at any time without prior notice. Users may stop using the Platform or delete their account at any time. Termination or deletion does not create any right to a refund.

13. Privacy

Use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Updated versions will be published on go-Village.com. Continued use of the Platform after updates are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms or use of the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
